the academy
Lavender Beds Ward 13th Plot 33 (mateus)
The Lakehurst academy, once a promising prospect for the agile mind and specializing in the use of magic. Now it is a graveyard of information, abandoned by teacher and student alike save for those who refuse to let go of the past. With the rise of city supported guilds and storied scholars who travel the roads, academies like this are forgotten but the history they hold ages like a fine wine. There are many secrets still living within these walls, waiting to be discovered. Should someone uncover them all then they may also learn of an alternate fate to the academy, differing from the one stamped in history books.
This is an RP location with a story to tell, characters to meet and for some it might begin to serve as a second home. Various sundries will present themselves to bold explorers who venture within, tied to them will be stories to uncover much like a quest. These will rotate monthly, so it would be wise to get into contact with those who have frequented the academy in the past if you wish to learn more.

Perhaps you are more interested in getting involved?
We are open to ideas from people who wish to host events within the academy but of course they must be run by the owners beforehand.
We are also interested in a few key positions for teacher roles. These are typically older more haunted characters who go about their empty classrooms teaching lessons to the moths and spiders who remain. If you wish to discuss a concept with us, we welcome you.
Lastly there is a great deal of room for troubled students of magic to show up and try to eek out an education within the halls of Lakehurst.
